MYOB AccountRight offers four different layouts to create a purchase invoice:
Professional (default)
Service
Item
Miscellaneous (not supported by Ocerra)
Default Layout in Ocerra
By default, Ocerra posts all invoices to the Professional layout in MYOB AccountRight. This layout is used unless specific conditions apply (outlined below), or a different layout is selected manually in the integration settings.
Note: Ocerra does not auto-fill the Date on the line level when Professional layout is used.
When Ocerra Uses a Different Layout Automatically
There are some exceptions where Ocerra will automatically choose a different layout:
Purchase Order Matching:
If an invoice in Ocerra is linked to a purchase order in MYOB, the layout used will match the layout of the original purchase order.
Example: If the PO in MYOB was created in the Service layout, Ocerra will also export the invoice using the Service layout.Multi-currency Invoices:
Invoices in a foreign currency are exported using the Service layout by default.Item-based Invoices:
If Ocerra detects that items are used on the invoice (based on line-level data), it will automatically export the invoice using the Item layout - this applies when the default Professional layout is selected.
However, if you manually select Item layout in the integration settings, Ocerra will always export invoices using the Item layout, even if no items are selected on the invoice.
Choose Your Default Export Layout
You can choose which layout Ocerra should use by default when exporting invoices to MYOB AccountRight.
How to Set the Export Layout:
Go to Settings in Ocerra.
Select MYOB AccountRight.
Locate the Export Layout dropdown under integration settings.
Choose from:
Professional layout
Service layout
Item layout
Important:
Nothing is selected by default, which means the system will continue to use the existing logic (Professional layout by default, with exceptions as noted). Selecting an option here will override the default behaviour.
