Overview
Ocerra offers file-based integration for clients who want to exchange data with Ocerra using files rather than a direct system connection.
At a high level, file-based integration can be used in two ways:
- to import data into Ocerra
- to export data from Ocerra
These are separate processes and are covered in their own support articles.
File-based import
Ocerra includes a file-based import option in Settings > Import.
This import uses the Ocerra Excel template. The current template can be find direclty in the Ocerra app via Settings - Import.
File-based import can be used to load or update supported data in Ocerra using that template.
File-based export
Ocerra also supports file-based export options for getting invoice data out of Ocerra.
File-based export is separate from Settings > Import and is handled through a Microsoft-based process.
Important notes
- File-based import and file-based export are separate functions.
- File-based import uses the Ocerra Excel template, not a CSV file.
- The available import tabs and columns are defined by the latest version of the template.
