Statement Auto-Classification allows Ocerra to automatically identify incoming documents and sort them into the correct folder – Statements.
This is particularly useful if you receive both supplier invoices and statements through the same Ocerra email address.
How Does It Work?
When Statement Auto-Classification is enabled:
Ocerra analyses incoming documents.
Documents identified as supplier statements are automatically placed in the Statements folder.
Documents identified as invoices remain in the Invoices folder.
This reduces the need to manually move statements between folders.
How to Enable Statement Auto-Classification
Navigate to Settings in Ocerra.
Select General.
Locate the Auto-Classification setting.
Toggle the setting On.
Once enabled, Ocerra will automatically classify incoming documents.
Note: Statement Auto-Classification is currently a beta feature.
1. Classification accuracy
As this feature is still in beta, occasional misclassification may occur. For example, an invoice may be placed in the Statements folder, or a statement may appear in the Invoices folder. We recommend reviewing your folders regularly, particularly when first enabling the feature.
2. Manual corrections
You can still manually move documents between the Invoices and Statements folders if they have been classified incorrectly.
