This information applies only if you use file-based import of tax rates in Ocerra.

If you make a tax rate inactive in Ocerra, it will no longer appear in the normal selection list for new invoice coding.

How to make a tax rate inactive

  1. Go to Settings > Account Codes.
  2. Open the Tax Rates tab.
  3. Find the tax rate you want to stop using.
  4. Clear the Active checkbox.
  5. Save the change, if prompted.

What happens next

  • The tax rate will no longer appear in the normal tax rate selection list for new invoice coding.
  • The tax rate is not deleted from Ocerra.
  • Existing invoices that already use that tax rate are not automatically changed.

Before you use this option
If your tax rates are synced from your accounting system, changes made in Ocerra may be overwritten by the next sync.
