Overview:

  • Ocerra now offers the ability to enable the Unit of Measure (UOM) for MYOB Advanced.

This guide will walk you through the steps to activate and use the UOM feature.

How to Enable UOM in MYOB Acumatica Settings

  1. Navigate to Settings > MYOB Advanced > Setting.
  2. Locate the Unit of Measure control parameter and turn it on.

3. Click Save and then Sync.

4. Once the sync is complete, a confirmation will appear in the top right corner of your screen.

Where to check imported UOMs in Ocerra:

  • Navigate to Settings > General > Extension Columns.
  • Click the "+" icon to view and check imported UOMs.
  • You can disable a UOM by unticking the box next to it.

Note: You can’t add a UOM directly in Ocerra. New UOMs must be created in MYOB and then imported into Ocerra.

Using UOM in Invoices

  1. Go to the Invoices list.
  2. Open any invoice from the list.
  3. You should now see an option to select the UOM on the invoice.

Important Notes:

  • No UOM Conversion Support: Ocerra does not support the conversion of UOMs (e.g., HOUR to Minute, EACH to Pack).

  • PO Line UOM: The UOM on a Purchase Order (PO) line will not be overridden by the UOM setting in Ocerra (UOM comes directly from the PO Line). If there is a PO and on a PO there a UOM - it cannot be changed unless you change it in MYOB first).

  • Exporting UOM: We do export valid UOM for Item Codes (Ocerra allows you to choose non-valid UOM for an item code). Otherwise on export people will see an error: UOM is not found. e.g. A single Item Code may have one or more Units Of Measure. i.e. pencils can be purchased in items or packs. However, in ocerra you can choose Liters which is not correct measure.

  • If item is selected - UOM won’t bring automatically to the invoice list but it will be auto-filled in MYOB Advanced on export.
